Located in the shadow of the Pennsylvania Capitol Complex, The Capitol Area Neighbors (CAN) is the neighborhood association that represents the businesses and residents in Harrisburg, PA bounded by Front Street and Third Street, Walnut Street and Forster Street.

  As a neighborhood association we are uniquely situated in Harrisburg's Central Business District, a Municipal Historic District and on the National Historic Register.  CAN is actively involved in protecting historic properties, promoting city living and working in conjunction with the offices and agencies of the City Government, Local Businesses and Property Owners to encourage positive development and revitalization efforts.

 The portion of CAN Bounded by Green St. and Third St., North St. and Forster St. is no longer being considered as a site for the new Harrisburg Federal Courthouse.
